Wood in Australia

I'm currently digging up ALL the treatments used on wood, lumber/timber in particular.

Right now, preservation methods are involving salt (borate preservatives, full-ceel processes, kyanising...). all involve adding salt amongst other solutions such as oxides, acids and water. I've also used oil in my experiment, which is also often used for keep wood and wood materials last and strengthen.

i'm also looking for wood corrosion-which water is causing on furniture...and of course naturally grown trees (spread of moisture, etc).

i've used cardboard as a substitute because CELLULOSE is what makes up the main part of paper and wood, and also because it's easier to manipulate. (i'm not sure if that's still the case :/)
